Infrared Heating Rebate Program

In many commercial environments, especially those where the frequent opening of large overhead doors is a normal part of daily operations, warm air produced by typical heating systems can be lost quickly when exposed to outside temperatures. With infrared heating, heat loss is minimal because the space's heat comes from objects rather than warm air.

Recovery from heat loss is much quicker with radiant heating, greatly reducing the amount of energy needed to maintain a comfortable environment. In fact, recent studies show that natural gas-fired infrared heaters can reduce heating energy costs from 25 to 40 percent.

Eligible Equipment:

A $750 rebate for the purchase of:
	•	Natural gas-fired, low-intensity infrared heating equipment
	•	Up to five rebates allowed per installation for multiple units (see application for details)

* Rebate only available for Commercial and Industrial customers of participating GasNetworks utilities. Qualifying equipment must be installed by a licensed contractor and in accordance with applicable federal and state codes.
