High-Efficiency Indirect-fired Water Heater Rebate Program

National Grid's Rhode Island Heating, Water Heating and Controls Program has been suspended.

Effective April 19, 2010, National Grid's Residential High Efficiency Heating Program in Rhode Island has been suspended until further notice. The state of Rhode Island approved program funding for 2010 that was significantly below last year's level and those funds have been exhausted. Rebate applications for eligible equipment and controls will be honored if rebate application is received by midnight, April 30, 2010.

The High Efficiency Heating Program in Rhode Island offered rebates for high efficiency heating and hot water heating equipment, as well as thermostats and boiler reset controls.

If you have questions, please contact Harry McDonough at 781-907-1564 or email to harry.mcdonough@us.ngrid.com.

Connecting an in-direct fired water heater to an existing forced hot water heating system is one of the most efficient ways of heating hot water. To take advantage of this great rebate offer and to learn more about installing one of these units, we recommend talking to your local plumbing or heating contractor to see if your heating system is compatible.

For your convenience, view and download the rebate forms below.
